Forte was honored to be a part of Cambodia Insurance Day 2023, organized by the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia (IRC) in collaboration with the Insurance Association of Cambodia.  

Cambodia Insurance Day 2023 took place at the Kampot Stadium in Kampot, signaling the  dedication of the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia (IRC) and the Insurance Association of Cambodia to educating the wider public about insurance across the country and its crucial role in the financial sector, as well as its contribution to creating a social safety net and advancing the national economy.  

To kick off the event, a lively and exciting fun run for 5km titled "Run for Health" was organized and brought together employees from insurance companies in Cambodia, including our passionate Forte team.  Participants enjoyed healthy exercise and bonded with one another while supporting a noble cause to raise funds for The Red Cross in Kampot.  

Despite the inclement weather, His Excellency Lok Chumteav, alongside distinguished guests and visitors, joyfully celebrated the grand opening of the Cambodia Insurance Day held after the fun run. The event was inaugurated by insurance industry leaders, followed by booth visits featuring educational sessions on different types of insurance, product demonstrations, and games and activities for children. Local residents had the opportunity to meet with insurance experts and learn more about how to protect oneself financially.  

Team Forte had the delightful opportunity to engage with Kampot residents of various backgrounds, assisting them in finding suitable insurance options tailored to their specific requirements.  We also interacted with visitors to play games and engaged children in coloring sessions which they can display at home. The atmosphere was filled with positivity, as people discovered that learning about insurance can be both informative and enjoyable. 

We are grateful to the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia (IRC) and Insurance Association of Cambodia for organizing this worthwhile event to introduce financial protection to a wider section of society. It was valuable to learn more about what Kampot residents care about, and to help them find the right insurance for their needs. 

As we reflect on this experience, we are committed to making insurance accessible and understandable to all. We believe that by fostering a sense of community and providing education, we can empower individuals to protect themselves and their loved ones and live with confidence.
