We are honored to emerge with two prominent awards from Asian Management Excellence Awards​ 2024, a prestigious ceremony that recognizes outstanding business leaders, innovators, and companies in Asia which was held in Bangkok on Tuesday 23 January 2024. This achievement marks an auspicious start to our 25th anniversary!

Our Group CEO, Mr Youk Chamroeunrith, has made history by winning the Executive of the Year – General Insurance Award (Cambodia). This marks the first time a Cambodian CEO has been recognized for this award regionally. With over 30 years of experience in insurance and risk management, Mr Chamroeunrith's dedication to innovation and customer centricity has been key to keeping Forte at the forefront of the insurance industry.

The second award recognizes Forte's management team as Team of the Year (Cambodia). This award is in recognition of our team's continuous commitment to building capacity in people and protecting Cambodian families. Together, we have covered nearly 1 million lives and we have made significant progress to increase access to auto, health, medical, life and agriculture insurance coverage.

Accompanying Mr Chamroeunrith were his spouse, Mdm Oum Sokunthea, and key members of Forte's management team - Mr. Pin Nirorn, Group CFO, Mr. Suy Channtharong, CEO General Insurance, and Mr. Kheang Ratanak, Head of Auto Dept.

From Forte’s inception in 1999, Mr Youk Chamroeunrith alongside Founder Mr. Carlo Cheo and Group Executive Chairman Mr. Charles Cheo, has been pivotal in establishing Forte's dominant 45% market share in the nation's general insurance market for more than 20 years.

In recent years, the management team has worked hard to shift Forte’s business model towards consumer lines. As part of this strategy, they have continually developed innovative solutions to improve their customer experience. In addition to this, the management team has given significant importance to developing and nurturing its employees, with some serving with Forte for two decades or more.
