Mr. Khonsavanh Sayasenh is the Chief Executive Officer of Forte Laos, where he sets the strategic vision and leads the company’s growth and transformation agenda. A strategic leader with more than 20 years of experience in insurance industry, he brings deep expertise in financial leadership and enterprise risk management, with a proven track record of driving sustainable growth, strengthening governance, and building resilient organizations.
He provides decisive leadership across all core business functions, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance. Working closely with the executive leadership team, he ensures disciplined execution and alignment with long-term strategic priorities.
Prior to Forte Laos, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer at Allianz Insurance Laos, where he strengthened profitability, embedded robust risk frameworks, and led impactful transformation initiatives. Earlier, he played a pivotal role in establishing a new insurance company, building its core systems and operational foundation from inception.
Khonsavanh holds bachelor’s degrees in law at the Faculty of Law and Political Science and business administration from Comcenter College, and master’s qualifications from the National Organization for the Studies of Policy and Administration (Laos) and SKEMA Business School (France), reflecting his strong global perspective and leadership foundation.
Mr. Hiroki Okamoto (Oka) is Chief Business Officer at Forte Laos and heads up the Japanese regionalbusiness in Cambodia. Hiroki joined Forte in 2018 and moved to Laos upon Forte’s acquisition ofthe former Toko Jaya Lao Assurance business. He established the Japanese Desk at Forte andbecame the first resident-based insurance specialist for Japanese clients in the history of generalinsurance in Laos. Within four years of operation, he successfully grew the business to achieve thetop market share in the Japanese insurance market in Laos.
Hiroki began his career at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Co., Ltd. in 2010, where he gained extensiveexperience in corporate banking for listed companies, particularly in project financing, syndicatedloans, and bridge financing for mergers and acquisitions as a Relationship Manager.
He holds a BA in History from UCLA (Class of 2010).
Ms. Khingkham Linnavong is a seasoned insurance professional with nearly three decades of experience in claims management, insurance operations, and leadership across the Lao insurance market. As Head of Claims Operations at Forte Insurance, she leads the company’s claims strategy and operations, ensuring efficient claims handling, strong governance, operational excellence, and high standards of customer service across all business lines.
Prior to joining Forte Insurance, she served as Deputy Head of Claims at Allianz Insurance Laos, overseeing motor, health, property, and non-motor claims portfolios.
