Charles Cheo is Group Executive Chairman of Forte. Charles has been serving and advancing the insurance industry for more than 20 years upon establishing Forte in Cambodia in 1999. He covered multiple roles at Forte, most recently as Group CEO, where he was instrumental in growing Forte into the largest insurance company in Cambodia and initiating the expansion into South East Asia.
Charles holds a BA in Communication from Boston University and is a Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of the UK.
Guido Meyerhans is Group Vice Chairman of Forte.
Guido is a key strategic advisor to Forte’s regional business and has over 25 years of corporate experience in finance, management consulting and IT industries. Starting his career journey in Goldman Sachs and McKinsey, he has successfully established and sold an insurtech business and currently holds board and advisory positions in the finance and IT sector.
Guido holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School, France and an MSc in Electrical Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH).
Youk Chamroeunrith is a Group CEO of Forte. Rith began his career at Forte in 1999 as Head of Operations and swiftly progressed through various underwriting and strategic roles. He served as General Manager from 2001 to 2014 and then Managing Director from 2015 to 2020 where he was responsible for operations and overseeing the successful growth of the business. He has also served as a Board Member of Forte since 2001.
Rith has over 30 years of professional experience in Insurance and Risk Management. He is a graduate of the Economic Science Institute and holds a Bachelor’s in Economics. He is also an Associate of the Malaysian Insurance Institute.
Nirorn Pin is Group Chief Financial Officer of Forte. Nirorn is leading and managing all Finance functions under Forte Group. Leading up to his appointment, he has gained experience across multiple functions at Forte for the past 12 years as Assistant General Manager and Corporate Secretary, Assistant Vice President of Finance, and Senior Officer of the Specialist Lines Unit.
Nirorn holds a Master of Finance from Australian National University, Bachelor of Business Administration with Honors (Finance Major with Minors in Economics and Real Estate) from National University of Singapore, Advanced Diploma In Insurance from Chartered Insurance Institute of UK (Charted Insurer) as well as a CFA Level III candidate from Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.
Hazel Zhao is Group Chief Business Officer/Deputy Group CEO, overseeing and leading Forte’s business development.
Hazel has over 35 years’ experience in both general and life insurance as well as import-export industries in Cambodia and China. Hazel joined Forte in 2003 as an executive in the Business Development department and has been promoted to various management roles as she spearheads the growth of Forte’s commercial business.
Hazel holds Chartered Insurer status and an Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII) from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), UK, and an Associateship (AMII) by Malaysian Insurance Institute. She also holds a Diploma in Insurance (Marketing) from Zheng Zhou Economic Management Institute and a Diploma in Chinese Literature from Zheng Zhou University, China.
Sokkagna started her career with Forte in 2004 and has held various management positions over the years, implementing business strategies and optimizing the organization’s operational capabilities. She is one of the key personnel that has contributed to the development and growth of the company by setting up strong accounting and finance functions, overseeing regulatory reporting and tax compliance, assisting in business plan development and strategy implementation. Prior to joining Forte, she worked in roles related to accounts and taxation at KPMG and Dah Ah International & Construction Cambodia.
Sokkagna holds a Master of Arts in English from Norton University and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from National University of Management on scholarship from the Ministry of Education. She also holds various professional qualifications such as Diploma of Cambodian Business Law and Diploma in Cambodian Tax from Cambodia’s CamEd Business School. She is also recognized by Cambodia’s General Department of Taxation as a qualified tax agent and Ministry of Commerce as a qualified business registration agent. She is currently pursuing ACCA qualification.
Chenda Keo is Group Head of Human Resources of Forte. Chenda has been leading and managing all HR functions under Forte Group since joining Forte in April 2022. She has gained a wealth of experience in the banking and insurance industry for more than 15 years. She has worked in various senior management roles in Hong Leong Bank, including Deputy CEO, as well as leading recruitment and sales at ANZ Royal Bank and HR in Maybank.
Chenda holds a Bachelor’s in International Business from the Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL), as well as a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Pannasastra University of Cambodia (PUC), Cambodia.
Jeremy Ng is Chief Technology Officer of Forte Group. Jeremy is responsible for the strategy and execution of technological roadmaps as well as overseeing the management of physical and personnel technology infrastructure. Spearheading IT leadership and innovation, Jeremy is dedicated to diversifying the technology portfolio to deliver optimal business value to the organization.
Jeremy joined Forte in 2017 and previously served as Head of Innovation.
Ny Lyhoung is Business Unit Head, Micro and Agriculture Insurance. Lyhoung has 16 years of experience in insurance since he joined Forte in 2006 as an Executive Trainee, and has flourished in various roles from Assistant Manager for the Specialist Lines Department, Portfolio Manager for Accident & Health as well as Micro Insurance and Agriculture Insurance, before becoming General Manager for Forte Microinsurance Plc.
Lyhoung holds a Master of Business in Finance from Charles Sturt University, Australia, and an Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII) with Chartered Insurer status and Associateship of Malaysian Insurance Institute (AMII). He was also awarded a full scholarship to complete his BBA in Finance & Banking from National University of Management, Cambodia. He has recently gained a Fellow Certification with the Life Office Management Association (LOMA), USA.
