Key Initiatives and Accomplishments

In recent years, we have undertaken several significant initiatives to support sustainable agriculture and food security:

• 2022: Financial Literacy and Training
  Participants: Over 8,000 farmers
  Activities: Conducted workshops and training sessions for farmers, villagers, commune chiefs, and agricultural cooperatives to enhance financial education and promote sustainable agricultural practices.

• 2022: Diverse Cash Crops Agriculture
  Crops: Mango, banana, and rubber
  Initiative: Promoted sustainable agricultural practices and provided support for cultivating diverse cash crops. 

• 2021: Asian Development Bank (ADB) Partnership
  Program: Climate Resilient Rice Commercialization Sector Development Program (Rice-SDP)
  Focus: Subsidized insurance premiums for farmers in rural areas to encourage resilient agricultural practices.

• 2015: Weather Index Crop Insurance (WICI) Program
  Partnership: Ministry of Economy and Finance (MoEF)
  Objective: Provided financial protection to farmers against weather-related crop losses. 

• 2015: Micro-Finance Partnerships
  Partnership: Micro-finance Institutions, such as AMK
  Objective: Facilitated access to financing solutions for small-scale farmers.
