Corporate Social Responsibility

A strong sense of corporate social responsibility has always compelled Forte to give something back to the neighborhood in which we live. In our various roles including investor, insurer, employer and consumer to the local and international community, we recognized our responsibility to work in partnership with the communities in which we operate. We believe contributing to the development and success of these communities is a fundamental part of our success.

Since its inception in 1999, Forte has built its social aid program in Cambodia through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team and through OISCA Cambodia which has been sponsoring various green projects and developing human resources in agriculture. OISCA is a NGO in a consultative status of UN Economic and Social Council and have so far initiated the Children's Forest Program, a unique tree-planting campaign utilizing school systems to instill in children the importance of a sustainable environment.

In the past, the team has made great achievements. We helped out school children replanting trees at their school surrounding which is called Children’s Forest Program (CFP). We also educated them on health, hygiene and the benefits of preserving the environment.

As a reflection of the fruitful achievements and expansion of activity, the team has been reformed under a new name HEART, which stands for Health, Education, Agriculture, and Reforestation Team. With its new name, HEART was officially established in 2009 in order to take active missions and continue its social welfare program in Cambodia.
